Thunderheist is a hipster ready, clubbed up R&B duo from Toronto. We’ve featured them on here before but it’s been a while since they’ve had something that made me want to dance as much as there track “Jerk It”. The original, which is in the video above, is something like an 8 bit version of a Dr. Dre track. However, It’s the remix that is really getting my attention.
This time it’s a fellow Canadian DJ/producer, Alias, who brings the heat and magic to his fantastic rework of “Little Booty Girls”. It’s equal parts sexy and hypnotic. It’s got the nicest little bounce blend of a faint horn, kick drums and hand claps. It’s exactly the type of thing that would warm up those Toronto dance floors as winter steadily approaches.
