Last month, Mouthful of Bees put out their sophomore, self-titled album… And even though I’m, like I previously stated, over a month behind I’d still like to share it with you. Mouthful of Bees as a whole is, from an all around musical stand-point, one of the best albums I’ve heard in a long time. I think the best way to describe their sound is to just say that they’re like an “unheard of Grizzly Bear.” Afternoon Rec’s was kind of enough to share “Thomas Aquinas”, which does a beautiful job of supporting the previously stated. Mouthful of Bees make it pretty apparent that Minneapolis does in fact, fucking rock.
