If you’re like me and think Kanye’s new album sounds like elevator music from the year 3000, then you are desperately searching for something with a futuristic feel… but doesn’t make you want to take a nap. Well, I am a huge fan of hearing stuff that sounds otherworldly, so I will give you a little insight on what I’m into right now.

One of my favorites is Chicago-based Vyle (A member of URB’s coveted “Next 100″), who has performed with everyone from Flosstradamus to Busy P. The concept of an electronic rapper may seem like one that should be a massive trend with endless copycats, but Vyle’s seamless swagger and vast imagination sets him a part from the imitators. To celebrate the beauty of futuristic rappers, check out this assortment of spacey-gangsta goods:

Kid Sister – Control (JFK Remix) (via RCRD LBL)
Spank Rock & Amanda Blank – Grit City
Vyle – Possible (Produced by Shazam)
Vyle – Second City 2008
