Skyler loves the ’80’s. For real. As you can tell by the tracklist, Chocolate Cake & Ice Cream is heavily influenced by the era of Pop, but at the same time offers up some millennium style hotness. Do your best to keep the ’80’s jokes to yourself and take a minute to appreciate the technical skills that present themselves in this mix. Although, the track selection may seem a bit obscure, in the end everything works out perfectly. I never thought I’d ever see the day where Journey and Lil’ Wayne ended up on the same tracklist, but damn, Skyler pulled it off!

5. Madonna – Like A Prayer (John Farruggio Remix)
6. Robin S. – Show Me Love (Laidback Luke Remix)

Chocolate Cake & Ice Cream Mix (55MB) (File Dropper)

Finally got the go ahead to post the Black Holes‘ winning remix of the Little Jinder competition. The Black Holes’ remix is easily the best of the bunch and, in my opinion, should have been the sole winner.
Little Jinder – Polyhedron (Black Holes Remix)
I had to take the Skyler post down due to some “infringing” remixes I had posted with it, and I mistakenly took down the Black Holes post, so consider this a re-up.

[...] … lots and lots AND lots of Madonna. And apart from Hung Up right at the start, none of the cooler songs, either (Frozen, Don’t tell me). No, just lots of that earlier bland crap like Holiday and Like a Prayer. Sigh…. Why do they always have to play this timid, non-descript, bloodless, bland, blabla … Circa 1987 + Polyhedron (Re-Up) [...]
