Surkin is amazing. Hey Champ DJs are amazing. Local Hero is amazing. Smartbar is amazing. Do I really need to coax you into coming to this event? I don’t think so. I think it would be a terrible mistake to miss the opportunity of seeing such a technician like Surkin at work. I’ve never seen Surkin live, but I’ve seen some of his youtube videos and the kid is a freaking wizard on Ableton. Oh, and recently added to the line-up is Trash Menagerie’s Local Hero, so try and get there a tad early to get a little taste of everyone’s sets.
To compliment this little event promo, Hey Champ DJs hooked it up with their fresh October mixtape as well as their new remix of The Prairie Cartel’s “Cracktown”. I’d also like to add that last nights MSTRKRFT show was insane! Thanks to everyone (Alex Rage, Justin Metz, Nick Andrews, etc.) who came out and said “whats up”, the night wouldn’t of been as fun if it weren’t for the good company.

Surkin had the best DJ set I’ve seen in Chicago this year, hands down.
