Around The World 3

Here is the third installment of my “sweet artists that you’ve never heard of from various parts around the world” series.

If someone stole my iPod I think I would die. I’m glad this tune got leaked though, it’s 8-bit fresh. “Music Killed Me” is (apaprently) a mix of I’m From Barcelona, Adventure Kid and Madonna; so dig in.

Clique Talk are some dudes from Chicago that got stuck in my head via the zshare link. This isn’t the first times this has happened either, here’s what usually happens… I get an email with some mp3’s in it, I click on the link expecting to hate it (sorry, it’s how I roll), and sometimes, mostly on zshare, I forget that the track is playing. Long story short, I end up listening to a song like 5 times and thus it gets stuck in my head.

Basically what I’m trying to say is, Clique Talk grew on me.

Petula Plansch turned out a track that I could listen to in the comfort of my home, my car or my iPod. Daniel Dexter turned said track into a song I could work into a mix. Win/ win! Seriously though, I love it when artists make solid original music that remixes just as well, it brings me smiles.

Troublemaker hit me up with his hip-hop edit of “Gasolina” and appended a list of other remixes he had done to the email. I noticed that he had done an edit of Justice’s “Phantom Pt. 1″ and “Phantom Pt.2″ so I was curious…

I’m glad he was willing to share it with me because it’s a totally different take on the tracks. I’m pretty much guaranteeing that you’ll love the “Phantom” edit, if you don’t like it, then I’ll buy you a cookie from a vendor of your choice.
