So I’ve seen Justice in New York, Los Angeles, and now Chicago for the second time, and this time was the best. Seeing as their myspace tour is in full swing, they’ve had some time to sharpen up their game. When I saw them in NYC last week their set was amazing, the lights were on point, but the crowd just wasn’t there. Tonight, much like last time I saw them here (Chicago), the crowd came to play.

When I first got there Diplo was in full swing, dropping some old school Prodigy and just basically pumping up the crowd for our favorite French duo. After Diplo was done, the 80’s music intermission was over, and the lights dimmed the crowd just blew up. Once “Genesis” came on… Oh man, you don’t even want to know, but shit got real. I started out in the back, but the crowd was always moving and people were being shoved from their places, which is when my friends and I capitalized and moved closer. By the end of the night, not only were both of my T-shirts completely soaked with sweat but we had made our way up to the third row (right by the douche in the striped shirt and glasses that everyone hated).

Much like the NYC show, the lights and music were heavily synchronized, which was a huge improvement from the first time I saw them. I honestly don’t even know what to say that I haven’t already said in other posts about their live show, I mean, I’ve seen them four times now and I would definitely see them again if they came to town; they’re that good. If you haven’t yet seen them live then you really won’t understand where I’m coming from, but all I can say is, see them live because it’s a wonderful experience.
Also, how the hell did Herbie Hancock win album of the year over †? Get the eff out of here…

I know, I’m glad to see that they’re catching on. I think they are going to be releasing a DVD of their tour too… I still wish they would have won that grammy though.
