As I entered the New York Turntablelab store I decided to get my browse on, it was pretty much the same stuff I had seen at the LA location, but seeing as I have been shopping at their online store for about 10 years, it was cool none the less. I got a little deeper into the store and picked out a pair of headphones I liked and proceeded to purchase.
As I turn around from the counter, a small stack of magenta somethings caught my eye, it looked fairly promising and sincerely legit. As I make my way across the store, I found myself ducking and diving in between other customers, but what I found at the end of the bobbing and weaving was well worth it.
By great Oden’s raven I kid you not, it was a stack of free LA Riots CD’s… Actually, I don’t know if they were free, I just assumed so, so I put one in my bag. I tried to make this not so dramatic story as dramatic as I could and now that you’ve endured that, enjoy this semi-old mix by LA Riots. I highlighted a couple of my favorites for immediate listening, but the entire CD is also up for DL.
