If you’re a regular to the Chicago/ Milwaukee club scene, chances are you’ve seen this fella around. Diamonds‘ trademark hair is just as much a part of his image as his mash up style, and I’m a fan of it all. Aside from doing his own thing, he also accounts for half of the Electro/ Disco House group; The Glamour, both of which are in heavy rotation in my iTunes right now.

I checked out Diamonds’ Spaced Out mix, which can be found here, and all I can really say is he’s doing a fantastic job of bringing on the disco house. His Mash Up remixes feel a little different from his live sets though, as you can tell by looking at some of the track titles below they are more Hip-Hop based. Mashing up old school tracks like the Miami Vice Theme with a 50 Cent acapella is all in a days work for Asher. The stand out track, in my opinion, is “The Margherita Hustle” and when you hear it, you’ll know why…
