Well this past weekend I was at my cousins wedding in Wyoming, and to say the least it was incredible. We stayed at an absolutely stunning resort called Amangani and to tell you the truth I don’t think there could have been a more beautiful setting for the wedding.
Anyway, I snagged a picture during part of the Jewish ceremony where all the men of both families walk the groom to see his bride to be, and in this case it was up a huge flight of stairs, which was kind of symbolic in a way. It was like “well, this is it” and I would even use the word “epic” to further describe this part of the wedding. I think this picture captures the moment better than words could describe and I was trying to find a song to match that feeling.
“Breathe Me” is basically about being alone and in need of someone special, but at the same time it gives you a feeling of hope. Sia takes her vulnerability to an extreme, which is what I think it takes to fall in love, much like my cousin did. To be honest, I’m getting a little choked up as I write this, because I don’t think I’ve ever seen Justin so happy; witnessing true love in its purest form is quite an amazing thing.
This probably won’t make it to anyone from the wedding, but I just wanted to thank all the wedding planners and families for making this weekend such a special experience.
